Highgate Cemetery

I purchased a book about a month before I left to the UK. It was a little book of secret places that not on every tour guide's list of places to go.  In this book  I found an article about Highgate Cemetery. I was intrigued. I hope to make a stop there and look around.

When I heard Neil Gaiman at his interview he talked about his new book. The Highgate cemetery was one of his inspirations while writing the book. I really had to go at this point.

After spending an afternoon there I understood why this place was on the list as well as an inspiration to Neil Gaiman. This cemetery is mystic and beautiful.
